Warranty Information

Cooma Outdoor Co Limited Warranty

Cooma Outdoor Co stands behind the quality of our products. We offer a 3-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is valid from the date of purchase.

In addition to this limited warranty, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


What the 3-Year Limited Warranty Covers

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faults in materials
  • Product failure under normal, intended use

If your product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing issue, Cooma Outdoor Co will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace the product, or
  • Provide a refund where required under Australian Consumer Law

Repairs or replacements will be provided at no charge for confirmed warranty claims.


How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

  • Your full name
  • Order number or proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos and/or video clearly showing the defect

Once received, we will respond within 2-4 business days with further instructions, including return details if required.


Important Requirements

To ensure timely processing:

  • Sufficient proof of purchase must be provided
  • Clear visual evidence of the defect is required
  • All returned products are subject to quality inspection
  • The correct item must be returned where requested

Warranty coverage on replacements may be void if:

  • The incorrect item is returned
  • The defective product is not returned when required

Shipping Responsibilities

Cooma Outdoor Co will cover return shipping costs where a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.

Shipping costs must be covered by the customer when:

  • Returning items for reasons unrelated to a proven defect
  • Returning personal items sent in error
  • An item claimed as defective is found to be in working condition
  • Returns are made without prior authorisation

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.


What Is Not Covered Under the 3-Year Limited Warranty

The limited warranty does not cover:

  • Insufficient proof of purchase
  • Lost or stolen products
  • Expired warranty period
  • Non quality-related issues
  • Free or promotional products
  • Damage caused by external factors
  • Misuse, accidents, drops, or improper handling
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, water damage (unless product is specifically designed for it)
  • Modifications, alterations, or negligence
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If damage is not related to materials or manufacturing defects, Cooma Outdoor Co may offer repair or replacement at a reasonable service fee plus shipping.

Local Support

Cooma Outdoor Co products purchased through authorised Australian retailers should be returned to the place of purchase where possible. If purchased online directly from us, please contact our support team for assistance.
