Product Details

Cot-Integrated Geometry: specialised corner tension straps and buckles securely anchor the 84.6 x 31.5in (215 x 80cm) footprint to standard camping cots for elevated, mud-free sleeping.

Dry-Pitch Mechanics: the pole architecture permits rainfly-first assembly, ensuring the breathable B3 mesh inner tent remains completely dry when setting up during heavy rainstorms.

PU3000 Weather Shield: the 20D nylon rainfly provides a 3000mm hydrostatic head rating, delivering robust storm protection while keeping the total payload at a manageable 3.9lbs (1.75kg).

Pack-Optimised Transit: the 7001 aluminum pole system collapses into a dense 21.1 x 5.5 x 5.5in (53.5 x 14 x 14cm) cylinder, optimising cargo space in motorcycle panniers or backpacks.

Elevated Comfort (Cot Ready)

Elevated Comfort (Cot Ready)

Forget about uneven rocks and cold, damp soil. The Tropics 1 features integrated corner buckles that lock securely onto standard camping cots, instantly upgrading your setup to a dry, elevated sleep system.

Fly-First "Dry Pitch"

Fly-First "Dry Pitch"

The versatile "Fly-First" pitch allows you to set up the waterproof outer shell first. Create an instant shelter, then clip in the inner tent from the dry inside—keeping your sleeping gear 100% dry.

Sit Up Without the Squeeze

Sit Up Without the Squeeze

Most solo tents feel like coffins. We added a dedicated roof cross-pole to push the sidewalls outward, maximising vertical headroom so you can sit up straight, change clothes, and organise gear without feeling cramped.

Surprisingly roomy and compact packaging

Have used once surprisingly roomy. First time assembly was a learning curve but hopefully will get better with practice. Like the light weight and compact package. Doesn't take up much room in pack. Yet to test in stormy weather.
